Where I've worked at

Cloud Engineer at UBDS Digital

  • Worked in the IOC managed services, supporting and managing network cloud infrastructure for all of our clients, primarily government contracts.
  • Created automation tools, web apps and PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and help with Azure migrations and M365 processes.
  • Supported internal security and client security through tools such as Sentinel and implemented syslog feeds for ingestion.

Vulse

  • Senior engineer leading the development of the Application working closely with the CEO, based on Next.JS, MySQL and hosted on AWS, managed by me.
  • Redesigned the whole organisation API structure to be more efficient, removing more than 10,000 lines of code. Developed new API routes in Next server as well as pushing features and bug fixes, using secure and optamized coding principles through Github AWS CI/CD workflow.

Uni-Sine

  • A full stack project, built in Next.js and API's built in Next.js server. hosted on Vercel.
  • I built the frontend as well as backend API's to create this reactive and functional web application, allowing users to perform secure CRUD operations on their user data through RESTful API architecture.

Three.JS Solar System

This fun project was an experimentation with P5.js and Three.JS to see the limits of 3D rendering in the browser. I created a model of the Solar System with mathematical realism to scale it correctly, with orbits based on newtonian physics.

Logs Inspection Tool

To make inspecting logs more streamlined and faster I created a web app for colleagues to use to inspect logs from an application and pick out errors with an overview, improving efficiency, lowering missed errors and freeing up time.

Cloud Infrastructure Integration

As part of my cloud engineer role, I set out to create an API integrated web app for departments to utilise to get a cleaner overview of all cloud infrastructure information including device licences and operation status.
